Michael's Story

I am still the country boy who grew up at my Great-Grandparents homestead(Arthur & Elsie Irvin) and my Grand-parents homestead(Kenneth & Mildred Parnell) on Potter Lane where my Uncle Rodney Zilkoski also lived due to his being paralyzed from the waist down. Every time I take LTD Bus#91 up to Walterville to walk the canal trail, I tear up being so close to my past and all the fun I had with all my friends, both, boy friends and girl friends. I am now 54, never married, have no children, though I would love to find someone to marry and settle down up the McKenzie around the Walterville Elementay School and possibly work at the McNutt Farm, such continues to elude me. I have a big loving and caring heart and do a lot of volunteering here in Eugene, Oregon, and I attend Eastside Faith Center Church here in Eugene on Martin Luther King Boulevard across the Kowloon Chinese Restaurant. I love to write poetry & songs, write stories & letters, love to help out all peoples, and recently took a homeless gentleman to Empire Buffet for lunch, and helped a mother & her 3 year old son by paying their LTD Bus Fare. t I continue to serve in a humble way not letting this incureable disease get the best of me. I love to go horseback riding, backpacking, love the ice cold McKenzie River, and the beautiful scenery & wildlife it has along its riverbanks. Hoping to locate old male & female friends to get together and fill in the missing years. I always wanted to be a servant of Jesus Christ as a pastor when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a dumb idea. As it turns out, they were right.. Meditation and listening to old Rock-Blues&Country Music works for me Jesus Christ is my greatest hero for all the love he gave to us by going to that crude cross for all of us sinners when he could have said no, that, is the greatest sacrifice anyone could do for me. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Cindy Schluckbier, because of her caring heart & beautiful soul. If I won $100 million, I'd give 50,000,000.00 of it to charities, then spend the rest on helping, homeless people and veterans. My love and friendship with Scott Partridge who died of Leukemia. I still well up in tears like now for my love for him for I really miss him so much.
