Micheal's Story
Workplace
After high school graduation, I attended the University of Florida where I received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. When I graduated from UF, I accepted a network engineering position in the International Wide Area Network (WAN) group at Lucent Technologies, which was currently spinning off from AT&T.
At Lucent, my initial responsibilities included the architecture, design, engineering, and implementation of the Asia Pacific WAN. Over eight years, my work and responsibilities extended into the other international...Expand for more
regions in Canada, Caribbean, Central & South America, and Europe. In my last role, I was the Lead International WAN Engineer / Manager responsible for all Lucent networks outside of the United States.
Last year I left Lucent and formed Apollo Technology Solutions, Inc. (ATS) with some former colleagues and now preside as President & CEO. ATS is a technology solutions provider specializing in telecom expense reduction & management solutions, provisioning of carrier services and network engineering (WAN, VPN, VoIP, Wireless).
