When I attended school at James Monroe High I also worked at McDonald's. I didn't want to, I had to. Why? Because my step-dad was working my fingers to the bone and he was abusing me and I had to get away from him. I got a job without my parents permission. In fact I asked my mom if I could get a job at McDonald's and she said absolutely not but I went anyway and got it then told her the day of my orientation and she couldn't do anything. I gave her a promise that she could have all the double cheese burgers that I could afford to buy her lol. I'm just gonna say it, I'm gay. There, it's out there. I'm not ashamed of it. When I was 17 years old and it was the summer of 1987 my mom told me she had been opening my mail from my boyfriend who we moved away from in 1985. She told me that he was writing me letters every week for 2 years. She asked me if I was gay and I said yes. Finally it was off my chest. She kicked me out of the house. I tried to go back to high school in the fall so I could finish my 12th year but some how my mom got to the teachers and the principal of the school. My teachers talked down to me for 2 weeks and I didn't understand why the nicest teachers that I ever had all of a sudden hated me. They accused me of beating up my stepdad which I didn't even do. If anything he beat me up for 16 years but did anyone confront him about it? No. My mom lies to everyone and all of a sudden I'm public enemy number 1.
