Michele's Story
Time to update..8 years after signing up on this site...wow look how my kids have grown. One is in the AF and most of you that still live here - well you all know that! lol... your kids are all friends with my kids lol SV!! Still have the big ol Mastiff! She's hanging in there. Still single. Guess I've learned a lesson lol. My dad passed away a couple years back. Tore my family apart. Also led to some other SV stuff I won't get into :-( . I've grown SOO much since my first profile on here. Aging sucks...but getting wiser is wonderful. Knowledge really is the key...and there's nothing better than being alone for awhile, stepping back, and just enjoying YOURSELF.... aaahhh :-)
I still ADORE my lifelong school friends that I now keep up with on Facebook. Wouldn't trade ANY of that for the WORLD. This place WAS GREAT!!! Our 5 year span or so ran this place! From the skating rink and arcades, to Hardees, Sonic - the park ( miss my dear Missy (Pamlieri)! Still love her family - what's left of them :-( ), the Altar, upside down tree, mountain bonfires....my boys still can't believe that us girls used to 4x4 the same places they did - party at the same places! Really shaking my head lol....especially at the little antics with my high school police officer buddies that used to be with me...that would backdoo...Expand for more
r info to ME like my dad used to get done for him lol.
I've come a LOOONNNG way from that lil "stoner' girl (that didn't smoke lol) in middle school and high school! Some of you at the reunions have experienced it lol. It amazes me how the walls of the cliques come down as we age.
I'm still the same goofy, outgoing, talky, outspoken, showoff, dare-to-be-different caring "kid" that would give you the shirt off my back.
Still have the same best friends I had in school - although i didn't get the memo that I was supposed to wait until my 40's to have kids...so they're kind of busy and we're at different places in our lives - I love them just the same <3
It's getting about that time to get the HECK OUTTA DODGE! I don't know why they say people always come back here - but I've raised my kids, done what I've needed to and can't WAIT for housing to recover just A LITTLE so I can rent and GET OUT!
Funny how the SV mentality never seems to leave some people even when they leave this place either. (when you're single) Sad too. Sad how some 50 yr old + people still gossip and make stuff up like we're 12. Sad how many of the guys that wouldn't look twice at me in school, are NOW MARRIED and trying to talk to me on facebook and wondering why I keep hitting ignore - HINT HINT - you know who you are! STOP lol
