Michele's Story
Life
Married with four fabulous children!!! As of January 2009, Varnum is 6 years old, Danielle is 4.5, Joely is almost 3, and Elliot just turned 1! Matt is my wonderful husband who I met in Kansas during law school. After five years of active duty, I am now a full-time stay-at-home mom in Southampton, NJ, close to family and friends.
Military
I enlisted in the Army in 1994, accepted an ROTC scholarship, and was commissioned in 1998. I immediately attended law school and went on active duty in the JAG Corps. My first duty station was West Point, NY and then I went to Fort Monmouth, NJ. I got off of active duty in January 2007 and have selected a reserve position at the West Point. My husband in in the NJ National Guard and works as a military technician for the Joint Forces Headquarters.
School

had a great time in school and in ROTC and graduated in 1998. From there I went to law school at the University of Kansas and graduated in 2001. Passed the Kansas Bar and worked as an attorney in the JAG Corp until January of 2007.
Family
My kids are just great! Varnum is very smart and likes video games and ordering people around - I see potential CEO in his future! Danielle is the natural athlete and is talented in just about anything she does or tries. She is quite a handful sometimes, but she is always eager to please and always puts others above her own interests. Joely is super sweet and will be the popular kid and hang out with the popular kids. She is also the one that I anticipate will get in lots of trouble and break lots of hearts - with a smile, a sneaky smile! And Elliot, well I think he is our comic relief - he is such a great and funny baby - he really likes making us all laugh!
