Michelle's Story
Life
I am currently enjoying a nice, relaxing, well deserved summer vacation. During the school year most of my time is devoted to work-grading papers, preparing lessons, creating tests...it takes a lot of planning. My favorite things to do are play volleyball and watch movies. I play volleyball at night usually 3 to 5 times a week. It allows me to have some fun and let out some stress. I also love watching movies. I worked at a movie theater for 5 years so that could be why I am addicted. I also love to travel...too bad I can't find anyone to travel with. Most of my vacations have been to Florida, but I really want to visit New York, Vegas and LA.

anted to go back to Chapelle and teach. I never thought my dream would actually come true, I always thought something would go wrong. Well I went to college and during my student teaching semester I had an interview with Chapelle. I got a call less than a week after my interview saying that I was hired. It was one of the greatest days and accomplishments of my life. I just finished my first year of teaching and I had an amazing first year experience. The faulty and staff were so helpful and everyone made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Most people had horror stories about their first year, but overall mine was great. I teach high school math, right now that is Pre-Algebra and Algebra I. It feels so great to have wanted something and then to go out and achieve that goal.
