Michelle's Story
Life
Sept 27, 2004 I had my 1st baby, March 28, 2007 my second...both boys! Oct 2007 I celebrate my 6th anniversary with my husband as the pic shows...
Before that is, of course, one long story. I started Kindergarten in Santa Ynez, then moved to Hesperia halfway into it. We finally got a house right behind Kingston Elementary and I was finally settled in school (in my 3rd Kindergarten class). In the middle of 5th grade, my family decided to up and move to San Dimas, where I was transferred into Gladstone Elementary to finish the school year. Since one move wasn't enough, we left for neigboring La Verne over the summer. I attended Ramona Middle School from 6-8th grade and instead of going with my fellow classmates to Bonita High, I was sent to San Dimas High for the first half of 9th grade. Luckily, my parents thought I was going down the wrong path at good ole San Dimas High and transferred me over to Bonita High. I got my first job at Hillcrest Homes, across the street at 14. My senior year I changed jobs and became employed by good ole "Hogi Yogi", which ended before the the school year did. I graduated in 1997 and decorated "the rock" for many years afterwards! Once I was "free" from school, I planned to take a year off before starting college, and got a job at A-1 Party Rentals. Things didn't really work out there, so I moved to Garden Grove with m...Expand for more
y good friend Mandy and got a job waitressing at IHOP in Irvine. Becoming quite the party animal and completely forgetting about school, life got a little complicated. So, I moved to Nevada with family for 6 months. Once I had straightened things out, I moved back home to La Verne and began classes at Citrus Community College. I worked part-time at Pozetto's Pizza and began attending Spirit & Truth Worship Center in Orange. After the semester ended, my brother-in-law got me a job working for Nestle USA. School drifted away while I began working full-time and completely loving my job. After the first year of attendance at my church, I started dating my husband. We dated for a year and a half, and he popped the question. Six months later we were married and I moved to Orange County. Since Glendale was quite the commute, I started looking for work in OC and finally landed a position at State Fund. I began attending college again, at Rancho Santiago Community College, with a very long road ahead of me! Now my husband and I are enjoying our first child, Benjamin Thomas and his younger brother David Russell, and are learning to be good parents (I hope!) Since Benjamin was born, I left State Fund and became a stay at home mom. I ventured into self-employment and now sell Princess House crystal. Now I just need to go back to Santiago to finish college again!!!
