Michelle's Story
Life
Hi All,
If you are reading this, you must either remember me or just curious to what people write about themselves. Nevertheless, here is my bio.
I am 49, on my second marriage, which has lasted 19 years so far to a wonderful man named Hank.
My first marriage lasted for 9 years where I had two children, Natasha now 27, and Nicholas 25.
Then when I remarried, I was blessed with two wonderful stepchildren, Henry Jr. now 38, and Angela 34.
Sixteen years ago I became the proud grandma of my first grandchild, a boy. Then had four granddaughters and one more grandson.
I have been living in Mancelona, Michigan for 17 years now on 32 acres of my piece of heaven.
I do a lot of boating, fishing, motorcycle riding, traveling and involved in lots of volunteer work.
All I can say is; "Life is good even when it is bad and I just love being me.Â
Workplace
My life has been a roller coaster ride and that I have been fortunate enough to have done many things where I could be called a "Jack of all Trades and a master of none." I have done masonry work, roadwork, skilled trades, photography, darkroom assistant, trailer manufacturing, housekeeper, landlord, and let me not forget my cosmetology education. For the last 11 years, ...Expand for more
I have been working in the automotive industry as a Customs Compliance Specialist. Let me tell you, the automotive industries it is not good right now.
Lots of CHANGES! Company I worked for closed it's doors. However,I am a full time college student. Something I always wanted to do but could not at the time when I gratuated. Going into the medical field. My sibilings had gone into that feild and I always wanted to do that to. I may be a little late in life doing this change but with still haveing a lot of good working years to go. I might as well do it.
Currently
It is just me and my husband Hank. In the summer, we like to take road trips on our motorcycles. Spend time on our boat at any one of the many lakes around us fishing. This year we took our daughter and her family to Florida. It was wonderful.
Every year my husband and I plan a road trip. Last year it was out west. We rode our motorcycles through Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, South Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and then back to Michigan. What a trip, 4,000 plus miles of beautiful landscape. This year we are planning to head along the Northern East coast. The rest of the time, we like to spend at home working around the house and yard.
