Michelle's Story
Life
I graduated from NMSU in January 1981; got out of the radio business and managed a country club in Las Cruces; migrated to Santa Fe to work in hotel sales; worked for Governor Carruthers, then a couple of law firms and eventually worked for a judge at the New Mexico Court of Appeals in Albuquerque. left to go to the federal bench in 2000, I crossed the street to work at UNM as a litigation paralegal.
My longtime boyfriend and I are involved with vintage motorcycles and are part of the group that founded the Sandia Classic which is a national vintage motorcycle racing event that takes place here in Albuquerque every September. I am also part of Schnauzer Rescue.
