Mike's Story
During the years from 1962-1967 Family lived at 1650 Barlow before moving to 2034 Rugged Drive, walking to and from school each day to attend Henderson. Spent many hours playing football/baseball in a field adjacent to the creek on Rugged. After attending Henderson, we went to W.E. Greiner for our 7th and 8th grade years prior to moving back to northern Minnesota, where I have resided until the present. I teach elementary school and coach boys varsity basketball. I can come up with Ms. McClean, Ms Phillips, (for grades 4 and 5), but for the life of me can not remember my grade 3 or grade 6 teachers, Mr. Voges at Greiner was my tennis coach prior to heading to Greiner. Must be a sign of old age since I can't remember more. Charley Barton, Mike Randolph, Judy Gordon, Joe Alexander, Eddy Fitzhugh, and Terry Harwood are names that I can remember. I don't think we had yearbooks, as such, with pictures to job my memory. Still have my black sweater with the gold "G".
