Mike's Story
Life
I'm a toolmaker at a manufacturing plant. Run CNC mills, lathes, EDM, CAD/CAM.... to produce prototypes and tooling for assembly. I've worked here for 15 years.
After high school I enlisted in the Air Force. Worked on jet aircraft. After the Air Force I came home to Mn. Drove delivery van for a boating accessory supplier. racing with my older brother. Dislocated my hip and had a closed head injury. Lucky to be somewhat normal after that. Crashed again after a rather aggressive year of riding my GSXR 1100 in 1995 or so. Broke my hand.
Left driving to become a machinist which is where I'm at now.
I've been married since 1988. My wife Ruth was a missionaries kid. She was born in Vietnam and raised in Africa. We have 3 kids. As of Sept 2010, daughter 17, son 16, daughter 12.
