Mike's Story
Life -
After high school went to work (still at the same company 33 years later) Married in 78 and divorced in 97. Two beautiful daughters. Transfered to Phoenix in 97... love the weather, I can travel to snow in the winter and back in shorts in the afternoon.
Re-married in 01 to the love of my life and soulmate, funny you find things when you least expect it and this is a perfect example.
Work -
I have been with UPS for 33 years, 25 in management, over the past 10 years have traveled all over the country ( over a million miles on a couple of different airlines) very few left and really don't care about flying for a while. Looking to retire in a couple of years and start another career as a ranger on one of the few golf courses in the Phoenix area
Family -
Daughters - Kristin 27 ASU grad and working in financial field.
Michelle - 25 NAU grad in interior design

Education -
I started college a little later then most people, 14 years after high school, the bug caught me, finished a BA in Accounting/Management/Information Technology, then onto an MBA, graduate certificate in Financial Planning, and finishing another Masters in Supply chain management, think I am done for awhile
Misc highlights -
Rode in a bicycle race in 97 with Lance Armstrong (Tour of Tucson). Built our dream house while traveling (not recommended) with a lot of help from my wife, took us 18 months (we were our own general contractor) still finishing small tasks two years after we moved in.
We live in an area where wild life is abundant, quail eat daily on the deck, javilina (pigs) travel through the yard nightly, coyote roam on the lot and occasionally we see a mountain lion roaming the street, and oh yes.. we have had more rattlesnakes this year then any, four so far and a couple of king snakes, I guess that is part of living on the edge of a reservation.
