Took Gen Ed classes at SFCC waiting for an opening in the Heavy Equipment program at SCC. Graduated with an AAS and worked as a mechanic for a number of years. Switched to Healthcare for the medical benefits and worked in many support positions for Sacred Heart Medical Center and Inland Northwest Health Services for about 13 years.. olidays per year. Went back to SHMC for another 7 years and currently working for Spokane Public Schools as a Paraeducator. I help Special ED kids with their school work and making good choices. It is very rewarding work and can be emotionally draining at times. Students in high school today live in a very different world than we did.
I have struggled with my weight off and on for years especially as I've grown older. I started eating Paleo in October of 2021 and my blood sugar numbers have improved dramatically my bodyweight is dropping. I feel better and look better too. Can't believe we are senior citizens now. We should dunk some 30 year olds in a drinking fountain.
