Mike Johnston:  

Life The son of a Navy man, I attended many schools until arriving in Port Orchard at age 10. On graduation from High School, I attended the Naval Academy and went from there to the USS ALEXANDER HAMILTON, a nuclear ballistic missile submarine. I left the Navy after my 5 year obligation and eventually joined the Environmental Protection Agency spending my last 18 years there as the Director of the Region 10 Laboratory, the best job in the Agency. I retired in 2004 to join my wife in England for a year while she attended the University of Newcastle. Many adventures later we returned to the US and moved to Bellingham, Washington. We enjoy hiking when weather permits and have seen amazing country in the mountains of this country. My wife opened a ceramics studio, Baker Creek Ceramics, a few years ago and is a very accomplished ceramics artist. I have been married to Debbie McCunn, my best friend, for the last 20 joyful years. Frightfully intelligent, perceptive, fun, beautiful and wicked sexy, she is a perfect partner and even after all these years, love, laughter and lust dominate our time together.
