Mike's Story
Life
I am the WebMaster for MESH.CA
Moved out West around 1983. Ran an electronics repair shop in a music store in Calgary for almost 2 years. While there I got involved doing studio recording and live sound.
Was asked to join a band as their sound engineer on tour, said yes, and spent the next 7 years touring all over Western Canada with various rock bands. It was just like the movies at times and was truly a grand adventure. While I was on tour I learned how to eat properly, lost weight, gained energy, bought a computer, started body building, photography and playing Squash.
Settled in Red Deer in 1991 and started raising my newborn son. Ran my own musical...Expand for more
electronics repair shop and recording studio for a couple of years then started college to do a career change.
Got a diploma in Computer Systems Technology (computer programming). I am now self employed building Web sites, repairing computers, doing photography and some other things for Mesh.ca in Red Deer, Alberta.
Oh yeah, I am a single dad at the moment and would love to find a girl that's into doing computer stuff, photography, creative writing, playing musical instruments, exercise, gardening, martial arts etc... any of these activities would be great to do together.
Have been wondering for years about whatever happened to Barb Penell and Don Hendsbee.
