Mike's Story
I am surprised by the number of visits to my profile, but everytime i go to visit classmates . com they want dollars from me when I want to respond to friends who stopped by. I have tried this before but it gets edited out of profile so they can charge money, but I'll try again. If you want to reach me, e*m*a*i*l

I am living in Ventura County these days and commuting to Orange County. I pretty much didn't start my life until 1991 when I began my career in nonprofit association management and got married the same year. My wife Carol and I moved back to Placentia in 1993 and we stayed there for 10 years. I ran a number of professional and trade associations during that time. Then I took a position running a private postgrad dental school up in Tarzana in 2003, so we relocated. I took them as far as I could (now a thriving cosmetic and restorative dentistry continuing ed center) and ended up going back into association management.
Somehow I have wound up back with the firm I start...Expand for more
ed with in 1991. The principal has become a lifelong friend and I guess you could say it was the perfect storm that brought me back. I needed more clients and she needed help with some accounts that had become problem children. The commute to OC sucks, but I love the work.
Carol and I have 2 kids, Christine (born in 97) and Evan (born in 98). Every parent raves about their kids but they are the best.
I still have a skateboard, a surfboard, a snowboard and a couple guitars. These days the guitars get more attention than the others, but Evan is approaching the age where he's starting to skate, and maybe he'll take an interest in surfing, we'll see.
I have connected with a couple of school friends over the years, still hoping to hear from many more as to where you have planted your roots. After all I have been through, like most of you, I'm still pretty much the same guy you used to pass in the hall at school. The mirror tells a different story though, with a little gray starting to show and a few pounds more on the midsection.
