Mike's Story
Life
For the past six years I have lived just outside Indianapolis. I left Chicago eight years ago and travelled through South Illinois and now Indy for work. I always thought I would want to go back home, but I have fallen in love with Indy. I don't think I will be here much longer due to my work taking me elsewhere, but I will come back when I retire. I work at UPS and have done so for the past twenty-eight years. Wow, how time flies. I am married to my wife Suzanne. It is my second marriage and Suzy's first. We are the proud new parents of our twins, Madison Eve and Lukas Keith, born on June 7, 2006. I guess I never grew out of procrastination. Actually we lost a set of twins in 2004 at 20 weeks, Charles Joseph and Abigail Rose. I have to say that was the most devastating experience of my life and something that I will never get over. Life has both been very good and very challenging to me. Both of my parents have passed on and I have lost both of my best friends, one to an accident and one to cancer. But I am blessed with great family and very loyal friends. Work and it's travels has given me the chance to meet some wonderful people and build what I believe will be lifelong friendships. I have always had nothing but fond memories of OLCHS and the four years that I spent with many of you. I have recently reached out to Therese Sturdy and Dawn Sobczak Kehoe through this site. the same with others. I would love for there to be a reunion in 08, even if it is just a big picnic at one of the Preserves. Hopefully, something on that line can happen. I hope that life finds you healthy and happy. Please drop me an email or two. Take care.

Well it happened. We found out in August (2007) that we were going to have to move to Salt Lake City. Quite a change from the Midwest. It is now December 8th and we have been in the new house for about three weeks now. Getting settled, but still a lot of work to do. Utah is amazingly beautiful. We have mountain views from each side of the house and some sort of wildlife visits our yard each day.
My work territory is now all of Utah, Idaho and Las Vegas. The Vegas thing is kind of cool. I can get away pretty much at my leisure. Suzy also has some family down there so I plan on taking the family down periodically.
The Kid's are getting big. It is amazing how time flies. They are my life. Used to be work, but that has all changed. Not to say that I will ever letup at work, but nothing will ever be more of a priority in my life than these two. They make me smile everyday, even when I am not with them. Just the thought of their faces or their mannerisms can make any bad day a good one.
Well, as always I hope life finds you in a great place. I would love to hear from you. Please drop me a line.
