Mike's Story

I spent my Junior year at Towering Oaks Baptist from 1975-1976. I graduated early by taking Senior English during the summer and received my diploma in August, starting at Memphis State University the next month. So I skipped my senior year altogether. In December of 1976 I moved back to Texas and finished college and graduate school there. I met and married my wife in 1979 and we have two incredible children. ing industry (radio), I helped start a logistics company in Houston, Texas in 1999 and I am now the sole owner. I also serve internationally as the Chairman of The World Freight Group, a network alliance of logistics companies which support one another globally creating a multi-national competitor to the likes of DHL and FedEx.
