Greetings fellow Bobcats. While I was unable to graduate with the great class of 1971, I was there for my first two years, before my Dad entered the witness protection program and we had to move. Just kidding… But we did move to sunny Florida after my sophomore year, where I went from this small school in the country to a large city school. While I liked the beaches and weather, I missed my familiar surroundings. It didn’t help my Mom had passed away the fall of my sophomore year. (the real reason my Dad wanted to move ). Two years later my older brother, John was in a fatal motorcycle accident. We all go through tough times, some sooner than others. I managed to graduate from Ft. Lauderdale High and then went off to Florida State University. I met my future wife the beginning of my 3rd year and we married three years later. We are still happily married with 2 kids and 3 grandkids. I never thought I’d end back in Ohio but in 1984 we moved from Tallahassee Fl to Avon Lake, OH.
