Life
My Spouse
Wayne and I started "going together" when I was 14 years old and a student in the eighth grade at Thames Junior High. Wayne passed away at home on January 7, 2010. He had a heart attack while sleeping and simply slipped away.
My Pets
Jasper is a sharpei that Mike had to have and is quite a dog! Boo is a black cat that Mike talked an ex-girlfriend out of. Basically, with every girlfriend Mike had, we got a new pet! My Kids
My son, Michael Wayne, is now 34 years old. He is married to a beautiful girl, Tarah. They bought my Dad's house when he moved into Loyalton. Mike is manages a NAPA store and Tarah is an RN in the ICU department at Forrest General.
My Job
I have been with Forrest General Hospital since September, 1979. I started out as a staff accountant, moved up to Accounting Manager and eventually became Director of Finance. I am now the Director of Corporate Planning. I am involved in facility planning, project management, strategic planning and anything else my VP thinks of...but I love it!
