Millicent's Story
Life
I've been married since November 1, 1978. I have three sons. They are all adults now. 42 years old, Navy man for 6 years, 37 years old, 35 years old, Live in my home in Oak Cliff, near Kiest park; for 39 years. At present I drive a 2008 Mercury Sable, Ice Blue. Bought August 3, 2008. My 3 boys are out on their own. Now I keep my 4 grandchildren. I am now the official drop off at school and pick up. I take care of them while their parents are working.. Two sons played little league and High School ball, One son Band member. So now I can say "No more FOOTBALL EQUIPMENT AND NO MORE BAND Equipment. Mother still living and still at the same house I grew up in. God Is God! I am the Secretary and Assistant Youth Director at the church where I grew up. School
My biggest crush was on a fellow that attended church with me. His name was Edward Dell King. I thought that we were the idea couple, but God had a different life for both of us. Mr. Jones inspired me the most. If I could relive my life, I would want to be 16 for the rest of my life. That was the best year ever at that time. Funniest moment - was when this girl we called Moose and her boy friend Clarence "Teddy Bear" was at the ROTC ball in the corner making out. Most proudest moment - When I made my first straight A report card.
Well, I recently had two new additions to my family. My oldest son was married January 26th and they had my very first grand child today, February 25th. I'm a grandmother at age 51. I think that is good.
