Molly's Story
Life
After graduating from high school, I attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where I studied Political Science. I graduated with a B.A. in 1994, and went to work for United Airlines in UA's corporate headquarters. I spent five years in Denver, Colorado, where I managed front-line baggage handlers and customer service agents at the airport, and in 2001 I moved back to Chicago for a promotion to the strategic planning group. In 2007 I received an M.B.A. in Managerial Finance from DePaul University. I worked for United Airlines until 2015, when I took a position as a Director at Alaska Airlines. I'm currently working as the Director of Safety for Virgin America in San Francisco until the Alaska/Virgin merger is complete in January of 2018. It's fun work, but a crazy commute.
I remarried in 2003 and have one son, CJ, who was born in 2004. I'm currently living in Tacoma, Washington, and working in San Francisco during the week.
