Monica's Story

Lots has happened since 2009.
I am still cancer free five years later. I end my cancer drug in December of this year. Besides doing a number on calcium depletion, it also affects the mind with memory loss. My husband hopes I get my brain back and so do I. My grandmother was a from Lewistown Montana. I now have my Metis status.
Robert my oldest has been very successful. He business is called Glue Tools for the Motion picture industry. Robert and Jona have blessed us with two lovely grand children, Grace 5 and Pete 3.

Great husband! Live in Ontario now.
Son Robert lives in Santa Barbara California and son Jonathon is stationed in Halifax on the ship the Preserver.
I have a beautiful granddaughter who will be one in October. Oldest son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter will be going to Germany/Italy in September for business and fun.
Youngest son is in Afghanistan. He was the head of one of the Provincial Reconstruction Team in Spin Boldak but they are moving him to another area which is more dangerous. He is expected home late October. This has been tough for me.
I was diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma (breast cancer) through early detection this January past. I was very lucky. Now am on the 5 year plan. Word of advice after 50, have a yearly mammogram. 1 in 7 will get it.
