I had one semester of the "traditional" college experience, right out of high school, at University of Miami, and decided that was enough for me. I hated every second of it so instead of continuing with school, I joined the Navy. I went back to school in 1992 and with a combination of CLEP/DANTES tests, credit for Navy schools and experience, and a few actu...Expand for more
al classes, although none at an actual campus, I graduated from University of Maryland in 1998. It was definitely the way to go. I reenrolled last year to go for a 2nd degree and will graduate in January, all via online classes and I like this method even better.
So I can't really say I have any college experiences to speak of even though I do have a degree.
