Monty's Story
Life
Most of the people I went to High School with didn't think I would survive High School much less anything else. After joining the Navy my senior year, I finally straightened out my life. I retired from The Navy in 1995, worked at Central Missouri State University for a couple of years, drove a truck hauling cars all over the country, worked at a refinery for 8 years and now I am a Process Controls Engineer after finally finishing my Bach...Expand for more

I have been working in the Electrical industry in combined cycle power plants, solar and battery energy storage systems. I am now semi-retired and doing what I want.
I converted to Catholicism in 1996, and feel that was probably the most important decision I have made In my life. I haven't been back to Elkhart in over 20 years, but hope to return sometime soon just to see how it has changed.
