After I ran away from home-I married the man I ran away with and became a mom of 3 kids-stayed married to him for 24yrs-then remarried and became a mom once again,stayed with husband#2 approx 5yrs all while practicing nursing----been there done that-I have 6 grandchildren and now live in Stockbridge,Ga. s from the Academy. I remember being the only black girl in my class,there were more in classes before me and after--but I was the only black girl in my class. I will always cherish those special memories in a good way. I remember well Mrs. Myers and those saturdays working on the switchboard. Does anyone remember the Tamburitzans and if they are still around?
