Nancy Dart's Story
My high school career is checkered with more than one alma mater. 1961-62 Rincon HS (Tucson AZ), 1962-63 Palo Verde HS (Tucson AZ), 1963-65 Plattsburgh HS (Plattsburgh, NY), For a brief two months at the beginning of my senior year, my father was transferred and I attended Rome Free Academy (Rome, NY). Checkered college attendance, too! Buffalo State University College, Ohio State University, and finally graduated at age 50 from Dallas Baptist University. Attended University of North Texas '98-'01 and earned an MFA. It was never too late to realize my dream of an art education.

ers were in architectural planning/design and childcare center owner/director. I retired from my public school art education career in 2016 and made a physical move from my home near DFW airport to Oak Cliff, an old Dallas neighborhood on the south side of the Trinity River from Downtown Dallas. My retirement job actually started in 2014 - an adjunct position in the art department at a local community college. In the fall semester of 2019, I transferred to my neighborhood community college where I teach ceramics.
I'm "Gran Nan" to a six year old and two year old who are on track to save the world in 2050. Actually, we're going to need this cousin duo's global participation a bit earlier so lets say 2040.
