Nancy's Story
Life
Well, again changes occur. My children, Kelli (17) is in her junior year at Gardendale High School and an awesome Clarinet player. As a sophomore, she is taking all HONORS Classes in preparation for college. Becca (13) is in her 8th grade year at Bragg Middle School. She is taking a year off from choir and is in the Tri-M Music Honor Society; and Alex (10) is in the 5th grade year. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Administration. I am 4 classes from completing my Master's Degree from the University of Phoenix - Birmingham campus. I am the branch manager for a payday cash advance company located in Fultondale, Alabama and am also the owner of Suyak Speedy Notary Services. I am happily living in Birmingham with my family and 7 dogs: Oliver(Toy Poodles) and Fluffy, Sassy, Patches, Bristol and Marbles (Bischon Frise/ Toy Poodle Mix). I am also the proud owner of a full bloodied Siberian Husky. I spend time chatting, reading, and singing. The most important thing is that I am married to a wonderful man who has just retired from the US Navy after 24 years of service. He is from Michigan but has settled happily in Birmingham with my children and myself. January 12, 2007, my husband legally adopted my two youngest children. My husband is a junior at UAB pursuing his degree in Civil Engineering.
School

treated equally though, it is not a nice place to be sometimes. I hung out mostly with the JROTC crew because that was what I was a part of. However, friends, like Scott McGuff in Biology and others, showed me that even the "preppy" crew was okay. I believe that the teacher that inspired me the most was Mr. Davidson. He was fair and just wanted everyone to get along. If I would, I definitely would NOT do High school again unless it was simply to better my GPA. All of my happiest, funniest, and craziest memories include the entire class of 1989...the pep rallies, the ballgames, the dances, and the proms... they would have all been dull if it had not been for the entire class of 1989 and I am PROUD and HAPPY that I was a part of that class. May God continue to look after the ones who remain and May God bless the ones that have gone on.
College
Thank Goodness I waited to go to college. I have been classified as a Non-traditional student from the beginning because I was 34 when I decided to get my degree. I have obtained my Bachelors Degree and getting ready to begin my Masters. My GPA would probably surprise my friends because it is high enough that I will graduate with Honors in 2007. I take the majority of my classes online so that I can work fulltime and raise my 3 children. It is worth it though because the one thing that NO ONE can do is take my college education away from me.
Workplace
I am the branch manager of Lifestyle Cash Advance in Fultondale, Alabama.I also own Suyak Notary Service.
