Nancy's Story
I would have graduated in 1983 but I moved to Vermont for my senior year. After graduation I travelled a lot and did tons of fun and exciting things, exploring the world and getting married three times (this last one's a keeper) and having a beautiful daughter, Emma. She's my pride and joy, an Honor's student, skipped a grade, star athlete (she's 6'1!) and wants to go to Dartmouth and become a doctor! Wow, does she inspire me.
I went back to school at the University of Vermont and graduated with a B.A. in French and a B.A. in Theatre then went on to receive a M.A. ...Expand for more
in French on a graduate college fellowship. I just finished my M.Ed. this summer (took forever!) and I currently teach at Williamstown High School (where my daughter goes) in Williamstown, Vermont. I teach French andTheatre and direct and act when I get a chance. I take my students to Europe every other year and push them to be their absolute best at everything. My plans are to leave Vermont when Emma graduates High School and continue to explore the world which I absolutely adore. I often think about the friends I made on Long Island and wonder how everyone is.
