Nancy's Story

School I grew up in a small town in West Virginia called Clay County. If you are from a small town you may know what it is like to attend school in a place like this. My schools consisted of: Clay County Elementary School, Clay County Junior High School and Clay County High School. I graduated high school in 1987 and finally left the county to expand my horizons (thirty minutes away) WV Institute of Tech. in Montgomery, WV. College I attended West Virginia Institute of Technology right after my high school graduation in 1987. I had a two different majors of study including Office Administration and mostly Music Education. In 1988 I changed schools to the West Virginia Career College where I studied Accounting/Data Processing for one semester. After deciding that I missed music very much I transferred back to WV Tech until April 1989. I also took Army ROTC my last semester at Tech and after a meeting with an Army recruiter I decided to join the Army active duty (1989-2002). My fondest memories of WV Tech are the times that I spent in the Christian Student Union. I made some wonderful friends there and hope to find them again. I am now back in college after all of these years and working toward a degree in Registered Nursing at Mt. Sa...Expand for more
