Nancy's Story
Life
I have been married to Wayne Sasser for 30 years. We have 2 sons: Cameron age 17 and Chase age 12. I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Special Education and taught school for 14 years (6th,7th, and 8th grades) until Cameron was born. Since then I have worked part time as an Interior Decorator. I also served on the Stanly County School Board for 4 years. ate. It feels like we're back home. I sometimes help out in Wayne's drugstore, Medical Pharmacy, as a pharmacy tech. We own a farm in Stanfield where we raise some exotic animals like Fallow deer, black buck antelope, scimitar oryx, ostrich, emus, zebras, buffalo, and a camel named Abou. Lots of school groups visit us each year for tours. Wayne and I are part of the committee for our next high school reunion, so I may be calling on you before long.
