Natalie's Story

Natalie is from Tampa, Florida. Natalie's schools include Seminole Presbyterian High School. Natalie later attended Florida State University (Theatre) . Books Natalie likes include Hunger Games. Movies Natalie likes include The Hunger Games. TV shows Natalie likes include Misfits. One of Natalie's favorite quotes is:"Part of the problem with the word 'disabilities' is that it immediately suggests an inability to see or hear or walk or do other things that many of us take for granted. But what of people who can't feel? Or talk about their feelings? Or manage their feelings in constructive ways? What of people who aren't able to form close and strong relationships? And people who cannot find fulfillment in their lives, or those who have lost hope, who live in disappointment and bitterness and find in life no joy, no love? These, it seems to me, are the real disabilities. - Fred Rogers "Discovering the truth about ourselves is a lifetime’s work, but it’s worth the effort." - Fred Rogers The Kingdom of God is for the brokenhearted. - Fred Rogers You have to go through the falling down in order to learn to walk. It helps to know that you can survive it. That's an education in itself. Carol Burnett When I get a little money, I buy books; If any is left I buy food and clothes. "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." - Gandhi Religion is a history lesson on the spiritual experiences of someone else. For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. - Jeremiah 29:11-13 It takes courage to push yourself to places that you have never been before... to test your limits... to break through barriers. And the day came when the risk it took to remain tight inside the bud was more pai...Expand for more
nful than the risk it took to blossom. "Natalie..you're like a my size Barbie Doll. I could dress you up and take you out." - Ali Qui me amat, amet et Canus meum. Love me, love my dog. The more I know, the less I understand. All the things I thought I knew, I'm learning them again. Well, you're an artist and artists feel things differently than regular people. The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return. The scars you can't see are the hardest to heal. To be an actor, a true actor, you have to be brokenhearted. Sometimes jumping is the only option. I can't go back to where i used to be. Life shrinks or expands according to one's courage. There are very few human beings who receive the truth, complete and staggering, by instant illumination. Most of them acquire it fragment by fragment, on a small scale, by successive developments, cellularly, like a laborious mosaic. Man can never know the kind of loneliness a woman knows. Man lies in a woman's womb only to gather strength, he nourishes himself from this fusion, and then he rises and goes into the world, into his work, into battle, into art. He is not lonely. He is busy. The memory of the swim in amniotic fluid gives him energy, completion. The woman may be busy too, but she feels empty. Sensuality for her is not only a wave of pleasure in which she has bathed, and a charge of electric joy at contact with another. When man lies in her womb, she is fulfilled, each act of love a a taking of man within her, an act of birth and rebirth, of child-bearing and man-bearing. Man lies in her womb and is reborn each time anew with a desire to act, to BE. But for woman, the climax is not in the birth, but in the moment the man rests inside of her. Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don't know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishings.".
