The day after hs graduation, I moved away from my interesting family and went to Cape Cod secured as a nanny for the summer. I started Western Michigan U in fall of '88, and finally graduated with a BS in Occuapational Therapy in 1993. I never returned to live at home, but did visit during most xmas' (& sometimes other school holidays... except summers which I either stayed near WMU or lived with an aunt in Atlanta). Coaching ice skating was my main income while at WMU (had a total of 4-7 part time jobs AT ONCE, plus full time school EVERY semester my entire 5 yrs there) (selling candy bars to fellow students supported my skating in THS). I've had 2 former students go on to the Olympics (of course, not while I taught them, but still, I had given them lessons in their earlier years).
