Nick's Story
I write a column for The Beachfront News (Beachfrontnews.com) in Fort Lauderdale under the pen name Nat Trayger. The radio show is on hiatus for now.
My wife and I are ex-New Yorkers who met in South Florida. I started a hearing aid dispensing practice called The Hearing Aid Man(hearingaidmandotcom)25 years ago. My wife teaches at a local college where I also adjunct. I teach a class in academic strategies. The class is designed to help students succeed at college by developing better learning and studying skills. We live in the suburbs of Fort Lauderdale.

allenging. I also enjoy teaching young people especially this class.
Both kids are in college.
Before I switched careers, I was a teacher and dean of students at Andrew Jackson High School in Queens. We had 7 deans, 11 security guards. 2 heads of security, and 2 police officers at the school and it was still wild and crazy. I wrote a book about it called "A Half Day in Hell" under my pen name. The idea came out of a lunch period in the teacher's room at Jackson. We determined that teaching at Andrew Jackson High School was punishment for past sins. We all told stories about the bad things each of us had done that had caused us to be sent to Jackson. It is available at Lulu.com or Amazon.
