Nick's Story
Worked for Ont. Gov’t 31 years, progressively moving up from a writer with Ministry of Health to Acting Corporate Head Architect with Ministry of Government Services.
Then went on long term disability for broken back. For 4 years I couldn’t walk. I tried once and fell head first smashing a coffee table and my skull. Off For brain surgery.
The surgery 3 years ago on my back was a miracle. Can walk now although with either a walker or cane.
I still have hobbies I can do like
- going out and jamming with friends (guitarist), flying my DJI drone,
- target shooting,

- photography and video, including underwater, - reading
- making my own ultra-premium hash. My prescribing doc says it's the way to go!
With 2 long common law relationships in my past, I remain single, living in a 3 bedroom condo on the lake at Bronte marina, Oakville.
Live life to its fullest!! I had mine taken away from me (over 4 years bedridden and in horrible pain, 3 surgeries), and for the most part, given it back. Pain is still there and I use a cane or walker but it sure as heck beat spending the rest of your life in agony, looking out the window! Seriously!!!
