Well will keep it kind of brief. Got married in August of 1994 to Peter. We stayed in Heidelberg until 1997 until he got stationed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC. Great place to visit, living there wasn't so hot. I miss the metro though. I worked at Marymount University which was nice except for the 1.5 hr commute each way... Peter ended up getting a medical discharge in 1999 due to a knee injury from back in 94 that never healed properly (yay for military medical care!!!) and he has been having to use a cane to walk ever since. We had friends in the Las Vegas (hey Lisa, that is you!!) area so decided to give it a try. The market was a bit stagnant at the time so when a contract job up at TOPGUN in Fallon NV came open we took it. We had a house built and I worked at a real estate company as the office manager and then at a Title & Escrow company as an escrow assistant (boy did that suck). I was going to school for Graphic Design and my instructor was able to get me a job on base in the graphics department was was AWESOME. Working with all the pilots was amazing, talk about a fun bunch of guys. Can't talk much more about that or I'd have to kill you though, security stuff and all that. :D Gulf War 2 happened and Peter's job got cut because of funding (GOOO DUBYA!) so the job search went on again and this time we ended up in Vegas after all.
