Nicole's Story

Life Hello all! After leaving the 'Leaf, I went to school at Akron for a year and a half before deciding that it wasn't for me. I left there and went to work at Westfield Insurance where I have been for the past 15 years (YIKES!). I would like to say that I enjoy my job, but I hate it! I met my husband Chris at Akron and we were good friends for a while before we started dating. We got married in a wonderful old Catholic church in Lorain in August of 1996 (I converted). We live in Seville with our sons Riley (6) and Blake (4). My husband is a CPA in Akron. I would love to be able to quit and stay at home with my kids. I love photography and I would love to have my own studio one day. We love to travel to Las Vegas (been 3 times) and Disney World. School I really enjoyed my years at Cloverleaf and would go back and do them again. I loved being on the Drill Team and in cheerleading. some of my best memories. When I think back on them, a few special people pop into my head- Amber Gehring, Jenny Lance, Kara Rickenbrode, Tara Taylor, and Jenny Slife. I keep in touch with Amber and Jenny Slife still. College I only went to college for a year and a half (The University of Akron) before I decided to start working at Westfield. I really wish I would have stayed at school though and gotten my degree. That year and a half was a great time in my life and I made life long friends there. I still keep in touch with everybody that was in my core group of friends. My roommate was a bridesmaid and my other roommate is my sons (Riley) Godmother. I consider them my family and am so pleased that our children will grow up as friends. I'm looking into heading back to school this summer or fall. Workplace I'm a stay at home mom now and I love it! Military No military for me! I do admire the men and women who are members though.
