Nicole's Story
Life
Well, I can't say my so far has been perfect, but definitley interesting. I currently live with my partner Kerri. (For all of you who knew me and wondered, yes, I am out and happier than ever). We have a furry son (a Standard Schnauzer) named Basil. After college, I went to work for Home Depot where over the next 6 1/2 years moved my way up the ladder to Assistant Store Manager. At that point I decided I hated retail and really didn't want to make it my life. I had been doing night school and got my license aa a Verterinary Technician (vet RN) I did that for about 3 years, until a car accident made me take a year off from work. now the Work Control/Customer Service Center Manager. Not really what I went to school for, but its a good job (State Government) and I actually like it. Kerri and I are hoping to buy a house in souther Pennsylvania (Harrisburg area)-halfway between our respective parents. I still ride horses, still play softball, and am doing fine furniture and woodcrafting as a hobby. I also do competative target archery and am a member of the SCA...historical reinactments of the middle ages. Not the Rennassiance groups that do magic or the like. (Society for Creative Anachranism - sca-dot-org) SCA is hard to explain (check out the webpage), but I do leather/metal armor making as my craft and compete in heavy weapons combat and archery. Kerri is an herbalist and also competes in archery.
