Nicolette's Story
Life
Many years.. and too many things to type. Like most of us, we've grown to become ...adults. It may be hard to believe, but I'm a Ph.D.
I'm maried with 3 wonderful kids. We live in a great house, in the middle of a cornfield, in Plainfield. After living in Chicago for almost 10 years it was time to move on.
School
Now that I look back on it, I really didn't enjoy high school. Well, to be honest, I don't remember much of it. Most of what I remember is swirling around in a purple haze. Remember kids..."Just Say No"
College
4 years of college, 18 months for my Masters and another 18 months for my Doc...Expand for more
torate. That's 7 years in college. Thank God for grants! I swear I have carpal tunnel from typing all those years. Jeeze! My dissertation was 250pgs of text alone. My hand cramps just thinking about it.... Ouch!
Workplace
I'm currently at two major universities teaching... what else? Art history, therory and studio classes. I know that thought probably scares most you. Don't fear, they're art classes. Anyways, the future leaders of tomorow won't be coming from the Joliet area... I hope.
Now I have more time to spend with my kids. I figure my children will either grow-up well adjusted or in therapy.
