Norman's Story
Life
After graduating from Bob Jones Academy and attending Bob Jones University one year, I left South Carolina and attended California State University in Chico, California. After graduating with a BA in Dramatic Arts, I spent several years acting, directing and teaching drama, doing short local television spots and a short film for PBS. I still act and direct, but only with my church, Salinas Valley Community Church in Salinas, California. at church, I donÂt act any longer. I act as an acting coach for a few private students, but even teaching acting has taken a back seat to other things in my life.
I wonder if anyone can view their life now and say in all honesty that that is exactly what they thought their life would be. Mine is certainly not as I pictured it. No time is as memorable for me as my time at Bob Jones Academy. I am still in contact with many of the people with whom I attended, and love to hear from past classmates. May God bless your lives.
