Pam's Story
Life
okay all..... I know I have quite a few schools listed.
i started school at Forest......1st thru 4th grade.
then was at Mer Rouge Elem., for the first few months of 5th grade. Then on to Cherry Ridge Elem., then BJHS East Campus, then West Campus, then in 1979 we moved to Texas.....I moved back to Bastrop 2 times. First time I lived with the Travis family and started back to school at West Campus, but only for a few months, then my Mom took be back to Texas. Moved back to Bastrop for a few months again....then back to Texas...where I've been since.
Hey everyone.....long time since I saw you all in 1979 when we moved away.
Since then.....I married a great guy...we've been married going on 22 yrs. We have 2 kids...well young adults now.....
a daughter ( Laura Lee ) 21yrs old ,,, a son (Matthew Wayne ) 20yrs old.
We've had a wide range of pets over the years.....the normal cats , dogs , & hamsters ,,, to lizards , a snake, & a bird. As well as pigs that the kids showed through FFA & we also had Rheas.
Right now we have Boxers 2 females, 1 male , & 7 puppies Nov 04.
We live in North Texas on Lake Texoma in the small town of Gordonville.
I'm a stay at home wife & mom....with a few houses I clean on the side....& few other odd jobs...that allow me to make my own schedule pretty much.
Just a little bit of an update.....we now have 2 female Boxers & 2 male Boxers, we had another litter of 7 puppies back in July 05 , which we just sold the last 2 puppies. Hubby threatened to make me sleep outside if I kept one off this litter. So I'm going to take a break in breeding our Boxers, for a few years or so. I hope you all have had a wonderful 2005 , and good thoughts are sent to all for a better 2006.
Update...well the kids are now Laura 24 & Matt is 22.....both have great jobs.....Laura works for the City of Denton & she is also on summer break from college. Matt works for C & L Natural Stone, he's the manager.
Ron just started his on biz. RLC Trucking , which is leased on as a Alpha Cargo truck delivering for ACME Brick.
I work for Northwest Grayson County WCID # 1.
We still have Boxers, one of our females...my w...Expand for more
hite one, we had to have put down last August due to a brain tumor. No more puppies .....we have 3 Boxers.....2 females mother and daughter..and 1 male son and brother. Laura has a male Boxer...Dad to brother and sister. We also have a foster Boxer......whom we've had for a week today....her name is Hope....we're hoping to find her a wonderful home. We got Hope on 7/21/2007. I guess that's enough rambling......later taters......
always, Pam <Hudson> Chambers
8/28/2007 Too add to the Boxer list...we took in 2 more Boxers (mom & daughter)almost 3 weeks ago now. We're hoping to adopt these 2 into good homes...as soon as I've had them spayed...and have worked with socializing them some more. ......Later Taters, Pam
Okay guys n gals...I have another Foster Boxer....a real sweetheart....I pulled him from the animal shelter on Oct., 15th....he's was to be euthnazid that day.
So he also needs a home...he is heart worm positive, but we will take care of that over the next 3 months....if anyone out there would be interested in adopting him or one of the 2 girls....I got back in Aug. give me a shout.
Ok all...I only have 1 Boxer left to find a home for, the brindle male I spoke of ealier.
I know all I do is update on Boxers, all of my foster/rescues have gone to new homes. Well all except for Hope, we've decided to keep her......I've had her over a year now, and she still needs Hip surgery sometime in the near future.
Both of our kids are doing good....as is the business, and my part time job, with the Water District.
We've gotten to do a little camping this season, but not near as much as I'd like. Which it was hard to go when you have the amount of Dogs I had, especially when you have one on meds., 2 times a day for an irregular heartbeat, and seizures.
Well a quick update.....the foster/rescues have gone to new homes.....well one to a new home and one into a local Boxer Rescue Program.
Hubby and I are coming up on 26 years of marriage next weekend. Wow....26 years. I'll be in Texas for 30 years in April of 2009.
I'm always on the look out for friends from back in the day.....so if you're one of those friends shoot me a line
