Pam's Story
I could write a soap opera of my own but I'm not gonna do that.I got married 8 days out of HS.We moved to Oklahoma where he was stationed in the Army.We lived there 2 yrs. and he was relocated to Korea so I went back to Arlington.He was gone from July 86-Sept.87.I can't say him and I were doing great cuz we weren't.I had my first child ( a daughter) in July87.After he came back from Korea we were stationed in El Paso,Tx While we were there we had another child ( a daughter) in 89 .We lived there till March 1990. He had decided at this point to get out of the Army. We went back to Arlington for a short while( 9 months) then south to a small town (Gun barrel) near Mabank,Tx.We lived there from Jan.1991-Dec2000.While living here we had a son in March 95. During this time my girls went to our church school for 4 years doing ACE cirriculum just like we all did. While we lived here he went back to school twice.Money got really tight and his job wasn't doing so grand so he transferred.The kids went to live w/their grandma in C...Expand for more
leburne till we could get settled but we let them finish out the school yr there.We moved to Victoria,Tx. in Dec.2000.Kids came down after school in May 2001.His and I's relationship was still on the brink and in May 2002 we were divorced.Long story made short there were a lot of people living on this 3 acre property.My sister's relationship w/her husband was not good either and she ended up moving down w/us in Victoria,Tx. I think there was a total of 14 people living on this property.With that many people the major holidays were a blast.I became emotionally involved w/a guy I met online but he lived in Pennsylvania.In Mar.2002 I had an opportunity to meet him so I took it.In Sept.2002 he moved down to Tx.w/ me.He was having trouble finding a job that would accompany my job that we all (me,him & my 3 kids) could survive on.So we decided to move back to PA so he could get his job back.The kids visit their dad when money allows but we have all livd here since summer 2003.I got remarried in Dec.2004 and am very happy now.
