Pamela's Story
I was nobody in school. I did ok, had a few friends and was a majorette. A very good one. I am still married to the love of my life, 45 yrs this June. We have two kids, three grandchildren and one on the way this May. They all live within five minutes of us. We winter in Florida, have a boat on the Rideau where we spend weekends most of the summer. I have two cats. I love cats. Have had many over the years. My Mom is still alive and well at 98 yrs of age.
I am blessed many times over.
I have been in touch with my very dear friend Jackie Baxter. Am really enjoying our chats.
It is now Nov. 2016. We leave the day after tomorrow for Florida to our other life and back for Christmas, then back to Florida 'til April. We have a new grandson who is now 6 months old. My Mom turned 99 and this will be her 100th Christmas. We had a great summer o...Expand for more
n the boat most weekends, it was extra fun when our 2 grandsons and grand daughter went with us. We anchored out and rafted with 2 other boats and we surprised everyone with small water guns for a water gun fight. What our friends didn't know was that the grandsons brought their huge battery operated machine gun water guns! It was a hoot! So the boat is all tucked away for a long winter's nap now with lots of great memories.
In Florida, my husband is the Chairman of the dance committee and I am the Vice Chair. I hire the bands and come up with ideas for theme dances and put them together. It keeps us hopping down there! Considering neither one of us had ever danced before I was 55 and we started going to Florida, it's kind of ironic. And we're good at it too!!!
That's about it for the update. Thanks for reading!
Have a very Blessed Christmas!
