Pamela's Story
Life
After thirty seven years as a teacher and administrator here in Fremont, I retired in 2001 to pursue my five favorite things..quilting, reading, traveling, volunteering and grandmothering. My son lives in San Jose with his four kids, and my daughter lives in Hawaii where she is the National Park Ranger at Haleakala on Maui. I divorced Bill long ago when he came out..and have been happily single since. I had surgery last year which ended with my getting a spinal injury from which I am still in rehab. Best thing about Lewis and Clark College...the overseas study program which I participated in...going to Japan in the first group. Graduated with a major in Elem Ed...one of the last classes to do so. Went on to graduate program through various schools while I was teaching..then completed my Masters at Cal State Hayward.
