Pamela's Story
Life
What a long strange journey it's been. After graduating in 1972 from Mt. Hebron, I was married in 1975 and worked as a secretary. And, because you just never know how things will work out, I found myself divorced in 1987 and going to college for the first time. A couple of degrees later, I'm a Registered Nurse. I remarried in 1994 and live with my husband and a retired racing greyhound dog named PHANTOM in a little house in Sykesville. I love my life and i can't imagine being any happier. My parents still live in the same house in Ellicott City they were in when I grew up. Good to have both of them around in our lives...Expand for more
. Mom is 79 and dad is 81 and they are still traveling and enjoying life God bless them. They have asked me to say hello to all the folks in the band, and in my mother's case all the girls who were in my girl scout troop. They recall our high school days fondly. I still possess vivid mental images of my mother hiking alongside us for five miles at a parade in Winchester Virginia, and of her and my father sewing up flags for the honor guard or packing up to take the girl scout troop on a campout. Lately I have truly enjoyed being in touch with a lot of you for purposes of getting the reunion up and running. Stay well out there.
