Life I left school about six months before graduation, at the threats of sudden death by disappointment from my mother, and played around in the music scene in Portland for a while. I got some great art jobs. I was the first creator of the football playing beer cans for the very first "bud bowl" t-shirts in 1984.I moved to New York City and tried to be a rock star. Got really thin for a while and modeled for Gerard while he apprenticed for Francesco Scavoullo (see pic in photo album). Married a very nice guy who was crazy about me and thought he could make me a yuppie housewife. Ran from New York and the husband two years later. Started a "hippy love rock" band with a few other guys that I was rooming with in Portland, about three months after I got home from Manhattan, and played for about seven years around the Portland/Seattle circuit.
