Pamela's Story
Life
Well, I still live in Newark. I have been married for 18 years now to a Mission San Jose High graduate. We have 2 teenagers aged 15 & 17, who both attend Newark Memorial High. Boy have things changed there. Not too many of the teachers that I knew are left there.
I have worked at Stanford Hospital for the past 10 years and I love my job. My husband is a mechanical engineer. We have our home in the Lido Fair section of town along with 1 dog and 4 cats. We're hoping to win the lottery and get out of Newark, someday. But for now we'r...Expand for more
e comfortable where we are and the kids have lots of friends, so we'll stay awhile longer in Newark. Besides my son is a member of a garage punk band, who happens to practice in my garage, lucky me, huh? And my daughter has been dancing with Mrs Gentry at the community center since she was 4 years old and is now doing competition dance thru Mission Dance & Performing Arts in Fremont. She is looking to become a professional dancer on Broadway someday.
