Pat's Story
After spending nearly 20 years in the financial industry as a graphic designer and marketing communications designer, I made a career change and went into education. I taught kindergarten for three years and Third grade ESL for 3 1/2 years. I then managed large school improvement grant for another three years at a local high school.
I earned my BFA from the University of Texas at Austin, an MA in Humanities from the University of Houston - Clear Lake and I completed my MS in Education Management in May of 2008. I plan to enter the doctoral program at Texas ...Expand for more

I currently work in school district administration, handling school improvement, student assessments and the AVID College Readiness System.
I published a childrens book "A New Day for Foal" which I both wrote and illustrated. It was both exciting and a lfearning experience. I have also been a part of several art exhibits including the Houston Cow Parade and Texas Children's Hospital's Christmas Tree Project.
I will be married 25 years this year and I have one daughter who is currently attending law school.
