Pat's Story
Life
Went to Germany with the Army out of HS. Came back and married my HS sweetheart in 86. We have 3 kids, all boys.
Worked at IBM for 6yrs, tried life as a pilot, couldn't pay the bills, went back to computers. Went to work for Microsoft in 92. After 7 years there, took the summer off with the kids and had a blast. Went back to IBM for an opportunity to start a Microsoft services practice. We grew it to a $90M services business. Met a neighbor in 03 who ran a software company, Talon Systems, that helps manage the...Expand for more
business of flight training and education. Pretty cool! He wanted help taking the company to market so I had to try it. Eighteen months later and they're the market leader in aviation training management. It was lots of fun! : )
Left Talon Systems for an opportunity at PricewaterhouseCoopers to build alliance relationships and develop additional revenue channels for the firm. It's an awesome place to work.
Tried to get a licence plate one day which I thought summed up my life, but it was already taken... "GR8FUL"
