Pat's Story
Life
I attended ASU and graduated in 1971. Moved to California in 1972, and married in 1973. My degree was in Clothing and Textiles in Business and I went to work in the home office of Jack in the Box in the Purchasing Dept. That company also owned 65 Steak & Seafood restaurants that were "theme restaurants". (Themes were popular in the 70's.) hostesses. Fun! Later I moved on to Eagle Creek Travel Gear and bought raw goods for their travel gear. Had 2 children in '83 & '85. Stayed home with them for a while. Started my own clothing business. Led a Girl Scout troop for 6 years - major fun! Divorced - not at all fun. Decided this was my chance to recreate my life. Returned to college and earned my Master's degree and my Doctorate in psychology. Not fun, but very gratifying.
